Individual Therapy
We offer individual psychotherapy for adults based on cognitive behavioural therapy. We treat:
- Depression (including chronic and recurrent forms)

- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related disorders
- Burnout and work-related exhaustion
- Personality disorders
- Chronic non-organic sleep disorders
Psychotherapy is available to adults with statutory health insurance (GKV), private insurance, as self-paying clients, through occupational accident insurance (DGUV / Berufsgenossenschaft), and under the social compensation scheme (SGB XIV).
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychotherapy method for processing traumatic memories. Both therapists are trained EMDR practitioners. EMDR is particularly effective for PTSD and complex trauma, and can be integrated into an ongoing CBT treatment.
Group Therapy
We offer group therapy for the following conditions:
- Depression
- Burnout and exhaustion
- ADHD in adults
Group therapy is conducted with statutory health insurance approval (GKV). Please contact us to enquire about current groups and availability.
Diagnostics: ADHD in Adults
We offer ADHD diagnostics for adults, funded by statutory health insurance. Capacity is limited. Please enquire via the contact form or telephone regarding current waiting times.
Treatment Process
Psychotherapy in Germany follows a structured approval process:
- Initial consultations: Up to 3 consultation sessions (Sprechstunden) to clarify your situation and discuss whether psychotherapy is indicated.
- Probationary sessions: Up to 4 trial sessions (Probatorik) to determine the right treatment approach.
- GKV application: For statutory insurance, a formal application is submitted to your health insurer. For short-term therapy (Kurzzeittherapie), approval is typically not required in advance.
- Private / BG / SGB XIV: For private insurance, occupational accident insurance or the social compensation scheme, separate procedures apply. We are happy to advise you individually.
Fees
Statutory health insurance (GKV) patients pay no fees directly – costs are covered by your insurance. For privately insured patients, fees are billed according to the GOÄ fee schedule. Self-paying clients are charged according to a private fee agreement. Please contact us for details.
